Everlasting LOVE

Do you ever wonder about God’s love, whether it will endure, whether it will outlast your sins, or whether your failures could somehow exhaust it? Have you ever questioned His faithfulness, if it will truly always be there, if it will keep you no matter what?

Scripture gives an astonishing answer.

It is written in Psalms 103:17:
“The lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverence Him.”

The word translated lovingkindness is the Hebrew word ḥesed (khesed). This word does not speak only of affection or kindness it speaks of covenant love, merciful love, faithful love, the love of God that does not let go.

And then comes the breathtaking revelation:

“From everlasting to everlasting.”

God does not only love you now.
He loved you before you were.

How is that possible? Because He is God. He knew you before you existed, not just years before, but ages before. And if He loves you now, then His love could not have been different then. His love for you did not begin when you were born, or when you believed, or when you obeyed.

He has loved you from eternity.

How long has God loved you? For an eternity.

His love has already traveled the full distance of forever to reach you. It has already endured endlessly. That means His love for you will never wear out, never weaken, never be exhausted by your failures.

Will God’s love ever cease?
Will it ever give up on you?

NO!!!

Because the love that holds you has already lasted forever. And what has already endured eternity cannot suddenly fail in time.

For those who reverence Him, God’s love is from everlasting to everlasting from forever to forever.

TODAY: Ponder this truth: you are held by a love that has already endured an eternity and will never cease, never fail, and never let you go.
