Isaiah not only saw Israel returning to the land, but he also prophesied that Israel’s agricultural blessing would become a blessing to the entire world.
“He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.” — Isaiah 27:6
What Isaiah saw in the Spirit is now visible on the earth.
Today, Israel is a global agricultural innovator and exporter of food. The nation produces approximately 95% of its own food needs, and more than 725 agricultural communities have been developed, many of them rising from former swamps and barren desert.
Years ago, satellite imaging revealed a massive underground water source along the rift running south from the Sea of Galilee to the northern edge of the Dead Sea. Israeli engineers drilled and discovered a vast subterranean lake. From that moment, everything changed.
Using this hidden water, Israeli agriculturists installed advanced pumping systems and pioneered drip-irrigation technology, bringing life to places that had been lifeless for millennia. Today, tens of thousands of acres of farmland stretch from the Sea of Galilee all the way down to the Dead Sea.
South of the Dead Sea alone, there are now over 54 thriving desert farms, producing tomatoes, peppers, melons, and a wide variety of crops. Remarkably, these farms yield up to ten times more produce per acre than comparable farms in the United States. Even the livestock bears witness, cows in this region produce up to 4,000 gallons of milk per year, compared to the American average of about 2,500 gallons.
For nearly 5,800 years, this land was a barren wasteland. And yet today, it blooms, exactly as the prophet saw.
This transformation is not merely agricultural success. It is widely regarded as a sign of God’s FAVOR and His FAITHFULNESS.
Every promise God has spoken; He WILL fulfill. What He said would blossom… is blossoming.
